About
Welcome to Balearic Mania, an Ibiza travel guide with a soundtrack.
This blog started back in 2015 as a home for the music that made Ibiza famous: Bob Sinclar's Paris by Night parties at Pacha, sunset sessions at Café Mambo, Hed Kandi, Defected and the radio shows that carried the Balearic sound around the world. Those posts are still here in the archive.
Today Balearic Mania covers the whole island. The music is still part of it, but now we focus on helping you plan a great trip:
- Beaches and coves: which side of the island suits you, from the long sandy beaches of the south to the quiet coves of the north.
- Sunsets: the Sant Antoni Sunset Strip, Cala Comte, Es Vedrà and the quieter spots locals love.
- Nightlife and beach clubs: the clubs, the pre-parties and how a night out in Ibiza actually works.
- Where to stay: choosing between Ibiza Town, Sant Antoni, Santa Eulària, Playa d'en Bossa and the countryside.
- Getting around and when to go: buses, boats, car hire and the best months for your style of trip.
We write from experience and check names and places before we publish. Prices, opening times and event line-ups change every season, so always confirm the latest details with the venue or official source before you travel.
Have a question or a tip to share? Use the Contact page. We'd love to hear from you.
See you on the island.
